This listing is for the photographed 1989 Switzerland National Bank 20 Francs Note. The serial number on this note has the prefix "89", identifying the year this note was issued. Signed by Gerber and Lusser. The snowflake pattern underprinted on the obverse extends outside of the numbers, unlike other similar issues. The obverse of this note has a portrait of Horace-Benedict de Saussure on the right end, and a hygrometer at the left center. The reverse of this note shows a fossil and early mountain expedition team in the Alps. Very Fine (VF) condition with some folds and other signs of circulation. Beautiful Swiss banknote, excellent addition to any collection! P#55h (Pick Number 55h).
