This "Good For Token" for 5 cents was able to be used for the Liberty Bell Slot Machine game, the first ever mechanical slot machine. Created in 1894, the Liberty Bell Slot Machine was often referred to as the "fruit machine" or the "one armed bandit". In 1915 the name was changed to the "Operators Bell" due to copying by competitors. There is an original version of the slot machine located in Reno Nevada at the Liberty Belle Saloon as a historic artifact.
