This listing is for the 1868 N.Y. Munn & Co. Scientific American Solicitor of Patents Shell Card Token. This is a "shell card" token made of brass over a cardboard core. The token was issued by Munn & Co., publishers of the Scientific American magazine and patent solicitors, located at 37 Park Row, N.Y. The reverse side lists their services, "Solicitors of American & Foreign Patents". The date 1868 is found on the token's obverse side featuring a Lady Liberty head design.
