This large size 2-dollar silver certificate banknote is a rarer and highly sought after note because of its brilliant design and rarer denomination. The obverse of this note shows a small portrait of President George Washington at the lower center, flanked by the allegorical figures representing Mechanics (left) and Agriculture (right). This design is widely known as a mini porthole note because of the small center portrait. Both sides of this note are highly ornamented in their text and border designs, making this note feel like a small piece of fine art! Great addition to any collection!
