This listing is for the photographed 1989 Banco de Cabo Verde 100 Escudos Note. Issued on January 20th, 1989. The obverse side of this note shows a portrait of the prominent anti-colonial African leader Amilcar Cabral on the right end. The reverse of this note shows a scene of the Festa do Pilao (Festival of the Pestle), a traditional Cape Verdean cultural celebration. Very Fine (VF) grade/condition, some folds and other signs of circulation. Great note with a beautiful design! P#57a (Pick Number 57a).
