This listing is for the 12% Off Center Strike With Capping 1963 1 Cent Canadian Error Coin.  This happens when a blank, which is supposed to be fed into the press, lands in the collar improperly. When this occurs only part of the blank is between the upper and lower dies. When the dies strike the blank, only that part will be struck with a design. This particular coin is only slightly off center at about 12%, but this error resulted in some bottle capping as well, making this a unique double error coin! Great Find!!!
