This listing is for the photographed 1972 Colombia 20 Peso Oro Note. Issued by The Bank of the Republic (El Banco De La Republica) on May 1st, 1972. Printed in Bogota, Colombia. This note is a dot date error type, as the date is printed with a dot within the year (1.972), making this a rarer, earlier issue. The obverse of this note depicts a portrait of Francisco Jose de Caldas with a globe at the right end. The reverse shows objects from the Gold Museum (Museo del Oro). Very Fine (VF) grade/condition, some folds and signs of circulation. P#409a (Pick Number 409a).
