1976 Memorial Penny - Fantastic Condition - Slight hints of wear marks, no significant contact marks, almost full mint luster, and positive eye appeal. All coins for sale are represented by the photograph.
On December 21, 1958, President Eisenhower issued a press release announcing a new reverse design for the cent would begin production on January 2, 1959. The new design featured the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, D.C. The coin was officially released on February 12, 1959, the 150th anniversary of Lincoln's birth.
These pennies turn 46 years old this year (2022). Would make a cool gift for someone's 46th birthday. As can be seen in the pictures, the coin is in great shape.
