This listing is for the 1969 New Zealand Cook Commemorative 7-Coin Specimen Set. The set was issued to commemorate the bi-centenary of James Cook's re-discovery of New Zealand. It was made by the Royal Australian Mint. The set includes seven coins: 1c, 2c, 5c, 10c, 20c, 50c, and a commemorative $1 coin. The coins are in uncirculated, polished grade condition. The coins were packed flat (letter style), encased in plastic covering and not touching each other to prevent damage during postage - despite being on the other side of the world, they arrived safely - and quickly!
