This listing is for the Antique 1892 Thyme & Søn Kallundborg Wood Carved Weather Station. This exceptional wall-mounted weather station, crafted in 1892 by the prestigious Danish makers Thyme & Søn of Kalundborg, is a masterwork of Art Nouveau (Jugendstil) design. Combining precision meteorological instruments with hand-carved artistry, this piece serves as both a functional scientific tool and a significant historical artifact. The Barometer is housed in a brass bezel; the circular lower dial measures atmospheric pressure without the use of liquids. The face features weather indicators in Danish: Storm (Storm), Regn (Rain),  Foranderlige (Changeable), and Smukt/Meget Smukt (Fair/Very Fair). The Dual-Scale Thermometer has a vertical scale at the top that provides readings in both Celsius (C) and Réaumur (R).
