Beautiful sterling silver pendant featuring a rectangular turquoise stone in the middle, surrounded by an ornate styled filigree and stamped on the back with "MC 925". The Navajo believed turquoise was a sacred stone used for protection from evil, good fortune, and health. The turquoise blue is very special in Navajo culture resembling the sky and water.
