This listing is for the pictured Beautiful Turquoise Crescent Moon and Sun Charm. Beautiful; sterling silver charm depicting the rays of the sun on the outside of the charm with a stunning oval cut turquoise stone centered in a bezel in the middle with an anthropomorphic crescent moon covering the left side of the stone. Stamped on the loop at the top of the piece is "925". Turquoise has been used for thousands of years and continues to be an important symbol across hundreds of cultures. The use of Turquoise was heavily used by Native Americans who believe it is made from their own tears seeping into the earth after they had experienced a long drought. The moon and sun have both held significance in religions and cultures across the world since the dawn of humanity with main beliefs that the sun life and power while the moon symbolizes cycles and femineity.
