1944 Germany 10 Mark Paper Note - Allied Military WWII Issue, "F" Print - 1944 German Ten Mark Zehn Mark Allied Military Banknote - P#194a
This listing is for the photographed 1944 10 Mark German Banknote issued by the Allied Military in the final years of World War II. This issue has an "F" printed in the upper right corner of the ornamented border, along with a 9-digit serial number, differing it from other issues of the same note. Very fine (VF) grade/condition, tape residue, ink bleeding, visible folds and signs of wear. P#194a (Pick Number 194a). Excellent piece of history and a great addition to any collection!
The "AM-Mark" (Allied Military Currency) was issued in Allied-occupied Germany during the Second World War. There is a printing mark used to determine which side printed each note; the United States printed notes included an "F" in the lower right corner of the ornament border, and the Soviet Union printed notes did not include the mark. These notes were circulated until 1948.
Thanks for stopping by!
