This listing is for the Punctured Date Lincoln Memorial Penny.  This penny has a unique appearance: the most prominent feature is a rough, irregular hole punched directly through the lower-right field, partially obliterating the third digit of the date. Inside the edges of this puncture, the underlying silvery-grey color of the coin's raw zinc core is clearly exposed, highlighting where the protective copper plating was torn away. Great Find!!!
