This listing is for the New Hampshire Vintage Transit Token Holder with Three Transit Tokens from New Hampshire. These tokens were used for highway tolls in New Hampshire from 1955 to 1977. They were issued at a discounted rate compared to paying with cash. Some of these tokens have a punched-out area with a letter, such as an "A" or "B," which was a common feature; three of these included in this set are punched A. The use of these physical tokens was eventually phased out and replaced with transponder systems like E-ZPass.
