Did you know there were Porcelain Coins? This 1921 Sachsen was a set of porcelain stoneware notgeld coins issued by the German city of Saxony in 1921. Many German cities issued porcelain coinage at the beginning of the 1920s, but they failed to withstand the rigors of circulation, and in fact broke quite easily. Super cool and unique coin type!!! Only 546,000 made!
