This listing is for the Dressed Rabbits Salt & Pepper Shakers By Vagabond. Crafted from luxury-grade, lead-free pewter, these shakers will not rust or tarnish and require little maintenance. The set features a female rabbit in a robe holding a carrot and a male rabbit wearing a bow tie, both with large, perky ears and detailed faces. Vagabond House is a family-owned American company founded in 1986 that initially created jewelry and table accents from repurposed antique silver tableware. After being purchased by the Haas and Hardy families in 2004, the company shifted its focus to tableware and expanded its production to include pewter, which allowed its American designers to create unique and functional heirlooms. The Dressed Rabbits set was introduced in the spring of 2011 as part of the company's "Whimsical Creatures" collection. Interesting Find!!!
