This listing is for the photographed 1920-24 Republica Argentina 1 Peso Bank Note. This note is from the "C" series with the watermark "1B", differentiating it from other issues. Obverse of this note portrays the allegorical figure of Progress holding a torch sitting next to the Argentina coat of arms on the left end. Reverse displays a beautifully ornamented design featuring the bank, denomination, and Argentinian coat of arms. P#243 (Pick Number 243). Almost uncirculated condition, very clear design with minimal folds. Rarer Argentinian note from this period, over 100 years old this year! Interesting and scarcer piece of history, a must have for any collection!
