This listing is for the photographed 1939 Hungarian Reclaimed Territories 5 Pengo Banknote. Issued during World War 2 by the National Bank of Hungary on October 25, 1939. The obverse of this note depicts a portrait of Julianna Csonka, a Paloc woman from the village of Beny. The reverse of this note shows a statue of Sebestyen Tinodi Lantos at the center. Very Good / Fine (VG/F) grade/condition, visible folds and chips in the print on the reverse of the note, as pictured. Excellent piece of history, great addition to any collection! P#106 (Pick Number 106).
