Vintage Beau Sterling Silver San Francisco Cable Car 3D Charm - Rare Beaucraft Sterling .925 San Francisco Trolley Charm, Circa 1960s
This listing is for the Vintage Beau Sterling Silver San Francisco Cable Car 3D Charm. The charm celebrates San Francisco’s cable cars, which were named the first moving National Historic Landmarks in 1964. They are the world's last manually operated cable car system. Produced by Beaucraft, Inc. (1947–2004) in Providence, Rhode Island, once known as the "Jewelry Capital of the World". Beaucraft was renowned for its original, high-quality "mechanical" charms with moving parts. Unlike flat souvenir charms, this is a 3D "in the round" piece, meaning it is sculpted on all sides to look like a real vehicle. The charm features realistic open windows, a roof with detailed ridges, and distinct wheels. Great Find!
