This listing is for the photographed 1940 (ND) Bank of England 10 Shillings Banknote. Issued during World War II, rarer first issue, printed with purple/brown ink rather than the later red color. Signed by Chief Cashier K. O. Peppiatt. Fine (F) grade/condition, many visible folds and signs of circulation. Great rarer early British note! Perfect addition to any collection. P#366 (Pick Number 366).
