This listing is for one roll of Kennedy Half Dollars (20 coins) with mixed years and mints.
Kennedy half dollars were ordered for production by congress within weeks of Kennedy's death. Prior to 1971, they contained 40% silver (with the exception of 1964 [90% silver]). Even though ample supplies of circulating half dollars had been readily available from most banks, their circulation is still limited. Production of Kennedy half dollars for general circulation ended in 2001. From 2002 to 2020, Kennedy half dollars were struck to satisfy the demand from collectors, sold at a premium through the Mint. In 2021, Kennedy half dollars began again to be produced for general circulation.
