This listing is for the Rare Vintage 1948 Encased Wheat Penny Good Luck Token Tad Gilbert CA. This vintage encased lucky penny is pressed into a traditional aluminum horseshoe-shaped good luck charm, complete with its original vintage ball-chain loop. One side features a genuine 1948 United States Lincoln Wheat Cent framed by the traditional good luck phrases: "Keep Me and Never Go Broke" and "I Bring Good Luck." The top of the horseshoe is stamped with a four-leaf clover. The reverse side acts as a personalized business/advertising token. It is custom-stamped for an individual in Northern California, reading "TAD GILBERT, DEAF-MUTE / GOOD LUCK / 1912 55TH AVE. OAKLAND CALIF." Great Find!!!
