The working one has a frame of sterling silver. 8-day Waltham automobile clocks are a collectible early automotive accessory made by the American Waltham Watch Company (Waltham, Massachusetts). These clocks were designed for dashboards of early automobiles, especially during the Brass Era (1900s–1920s) and continued into the 1930s. They used a large pocket-watch-style mechanical movement and could run for about 8 days on one winding. Stunning antique for use or parts/repair!
