This listing is for the photographed Sterling Silver Navajo Turquoise Mother of Pearl Skinny Oval Ring - Size 4. Stunning sterling silver piece of jewelry featuring a large skinny turquoise and mother of pearl stone centered in the middle. The stone is enacsed in jagged edge like design with coils around it. It then has large half circles at each end of the ring with small dots in between each semicircle. The Navajo believed turquoise was a sacred stone used for protection from evil, good fortune, and health. The turquoise blue is very special in Navajo culture resembling the sky and water. Mother of pearl is believed to symbolize tranquility, promote spiritual growth, and enhance intuition. This ring was soldered on a bit off and the slender part is a bit sideways.
