This listing features an Antique 1900s Imperial German Flag and Patriotic Song Lyrics Embossed Postcard. This postcard dates to before 1907 as identified by the lack of a divider on the back of the postcard. The dividing line on the back of postcards was only allowed to be added to postcards starting in 1907. This card was never sent and has a blank reverse. The German Imperial Flag is displayed on the left end of the card and has an embossed finish, making this a rarer kind of patriotic German postcard from this era. The card also displays the lyrics "Deutschland, Deutschland uber alles, Ueber alles in der Welt!" which translates to "Germany, Germany above all, above all in the world!", these lyrics are from the German national anthem Deutschlandlied.
