This listing is for a very well preserved 1944 5 Mark German Banknote issued by the Allied Military in the final years of World War II. This is a rarer print type, being printed without the "F-" printer code included on US printed notes, identifying that the note was printed in the Soviet Union. Very Fine (VF) grade/condition, some folds and other signs of circulation. P#193b (Pick Number 193b). Excellent piece of history and a great addition to any collection!

The "AM-Mark" (Allied Military Currency) was issued in Allied-occupied Germany during the Second World War. There is a printing mark used to determine which side printed each note; the United States printed notes included an "F" in the lower right corner of the ornament border, and the Soviet Union printed notes did not include the mark. These notes were circulated until 1948.
