The reverse The Bluenose under sail, a Canadian schooner from Nova Scotia, a celebrated racing ship and a symbol of the province, surrounded with the face value and the inscription "CANADA". Curved clips occur when the blanking press, which cuts round blanks from a metal strip, overlaps a previously punched hole.
