This listing is for the photographed 1912 Russian Empire 500 Rubles Large Paper Note. Issued during the Russian Empire, under Czar Nicolas II. Signed by Shipov and Metz, differentiating it from other issues. Stunning artwork and designs. Reverse of note displays a portrait of Peter the Great on the left end, and an allegorical woman representing Mother Russia on the right end, with extreme details throughout the rest of the designed note. The obverse of this note includes the double headed eagle, the Russian coat of arms, in the upper left corner. Very fine (VF), circulated condition with minor discoloration and folds due to age and size of the note. This note is 112 years old this year! Rare large bank note from pre-revolution Russia, making it a must have for any collection! P# 14b (Pick Number 14b).

This note depicts an interesting time in history, just before the fall of the Russian Empire and Romanov Dynasty, and the rise of the Soviet Union in 1917. Great addition to any collection!
