Includes five 50 pfennig notes that have varied reverse designs, all part of the landscape series. This set of notes is not a complete set as it is missing a number of notes from the series. Notgeld was a form of emergency currency that was issued by individual German municipalities or institutions immediately after the First World War when Germany was experiencing a severe economic depression.
