This listing is for the photographed 1980 Central Reserve Bank of El Salvador 10 Colones Note. Series ZT or ZJ. Issued by the Central Reserve Bank of El Salvador (El Banco Central de Reserva de El Salvador). Obverse printed date is July 21st, 1980, but an over stamp on the reverse by the Superintendency of Banks, Financial Institutions, and Others shows a later issue date of December 10th, 1980. The notes were printed with an electronic font serial number, identifying them as part of the replacement series, making them rarer finds for this series! The obverse of this note displays a portrait of Manuel Jose Arce at the right end. The reverse of this note shows a portrait of Christopher Colombus at the left center with a black overprint of the Superintendency seal and a newer issue date. Very Fine (VF) grade/condition, some signs of circulation. Great addition to any collection! P#129b (Pick Number 129b). Rare El Salvador replacement notes!
