This listing is for the photographed 1864 The State of Georgia 10 Dollars Obsolete Banknote. Milledgeville Issue. Printed date of April 6th, 1864, issued by the Confederacy in Georgia during the Civil War. The notes feature green treasury seals stamped on the obverse. The obverse of this note features a vignette of the Roman patron goddess of money, Moneta, seated against a chest while looking at a scene representing the state seal of Georgia at the center.
