This listing is for the photographed 1952 Banco Central Del Ecuador 5 Sucres Banknote. Issued on July 28th, 1952, in Quito by the Central Bank of Ecuador. The note is a rare issue, being a reduced size and featuring a portrait on the obverse that faces right, series AAA. The reverse side of this note includes an overprint that says "1927 - 10 de Agosto - 1952 Bodas de Plata", likely to celebrate a couple's silver wedding anniversary, or 25-year wedding anniversary. Obverse of this note depicts a portrait of Mariscal Sucre facing right at the center. Reverse shows the country's coat of arms at the center in addition to the silver wedding overprint. Choice Very Fine (VF+) grade/condition, some visible folds and other signs of circulation. Excellent rarer note, perfect addition to any collection! P#98a (Pick Number 98a).
