Comb opens out for use and closes into the case for storage, all of the mechanisms of the compact work and open correctly. Gold-toned filigree design on the brass compact case in great condition with no signs of wear. Brass birds and nest ornate design on the front of the case with gemstones laid inside of it, design still fully intact with age. Amazing piece of history, making for the perfect addition to any collection! Approximately 4" in length when closed, 8" when open.
