Large Beautiful sterling silver cuff bracelet depicting three Vajras surrounded by floral artwork and a geometric design lining the edges. Stamped on the inside of the cuff is "925". Dimensions of the item can be seen in the photos below. The Vajra is a ritual symbol in Buddhism and Hinduism, representing the indestructible nature of a diamond and the irresistible force of a thunderbolt. It is supposed to symbolize an enlightened state of mind, wisdom, and spiritual power. In Hinduism it was the preferred weapon of the god Indra and was believed to be used to defeat the demon Vritra. The Buddhists would adopt the symbol, where they would bend the prongs inward to symbolize the focused power to break through obstacles rather than a weapon for destruction. It became a key symbol for Vajrayana Buddhism, often called the "diamond path".
