These earrings were sold as part of the "Windsong" series first introduced by Sarah Coventry in 1959. Beautiful silver toned statement earrings that feature two stacked leaves, one with an open design and the other with a textured design. Vintage style clip-on earrings, cool find! These earrings are signed "Sarah Cov" on the back of the clip-on mechanism, confirming their manufacturer. The clip also is marked "Pat. Pend.", identifying that some aspect of these earrings is pending a patent from the company. The Patent was most likely for the pink-toned grooved piece on the inside of the clip on, which was added for the wearer's comfort. Excellent vintage 1950s statement piece for any collection!
