Vintage 18 Karat Gold Rialto Bridge Italy Charm! Inscribed 750 on the latch indicating 18K gold. This is a great Jewelry Piece, and with Gold reaching all time highs, its an investment to boot!
Ponte de Rialto as it is known in Italian is a beautiful floating bridge going across the Grand Canal in Venice, Italy that was built around the 12th century, being replaced several times including after a fire destroyed the bridge in 1514.
Legend says Antonio Da Ponte, the architect of the bridge, made a deal with the devil to complete the bridge, but in return the devil would get the soul of the first to walk across it.
