This listing is for the Antique South Bend Bait Co. Good Luck Token. The token features an image of the "South Bend angler" with his arms raised, a design also found in the company's catalogs. The reverse side of the token, depicts a leaping bass with a hook in its mouth and includes the words, "This Oreno Token Is a Symbol of Good Fishing Luck". The company was founded in South Bend, Indiana, and was particularly known for its "Oreno" line of fishing lures, such as the Bass-Oreno. The company's name was changed to South Bend Tackle Company in 1955 and has changed hands several times since its founding in the early 20th century. Interesting Find!!
