This listing features an Antique circa 1900s Marina Piccola, Capri Italy Stengel & Co. Artist Postcard. This postcard dates to before 1907, identified by the lack of a vertical dividing correspondence line on the reverse, which was only introduced starting in 1907. The postcard shows a painted scene of a secluded marina with people doing various activities throughout, titled "Marina Piccola" which translates to small marina. The artist's signature is printed in the lower right corner of the painting. Published by the Stengel & Co postcard company, number 48 in this series. The company became popular at the turn of the century through their artist postcards of the Italian coast. Stunning antique card made by an artist from the early 1900s. Great condition.
