This listing features an Antique 1897 Postmarked Imperial German Gruss aus Berlin Multiview Postcard. This postcard was sent and dated June 1st, 1897 on the obverse with a postmark from the same year on the reverse side, as well as writing on both sides and a 10 pfennig stamp. The card was sent internationally as the address on the reverse is to Lawrence, Massachusetts, "Amerika". The front of the postcard is a Multiview design that features several famous sights in the city of Berlin, including the National Denkmal (Monument) of Kaiser Wilhelm I, and the Mausoleum in Schlosspark Charlottenburg where he is buried. Stunning design and an incredibly interesting piece of history! Great piece of artwork from Imperial Germany in the late 19th century! Perfect addition to any collection!
