Este listado es para un billete de certificado de oro de 10 dólares de 1928. Firmado por Woods / Mellon. Elección de grados muy fino (VF) o fino + (F+), los precios varían. Fr#2400 (número Friedburg 2400).
Los certificados de oro, junto con todas las demás monedas de EE. UU., se fabricaron en dos tamaños: un tamaño más grande de 1865 a 1928, y un tamaño más pequeño a partir de la serie de 1928. Los reversos de todos los billetes de gran tamaño (y también los billetes de tamaño pequeño de la Serie de 1934) eran naranjas, lo que dio lugar al apodo de "yellow boys" o "goldbacks". Los reversos de los billetes de la Serie de 1928 eran verdes e idénticos a la denominación correspondiente de los billetes de la Reserva Federal más familiares, incluidos los edificios habituales en los diseños de 10 a 100 dólares y los diseños abstractos menos conocidos de las denominaciones de 500 dólares en adelante. Tanto los certificados de oro de tamaño grande como los de tamaño pequeño presentan un sello de oro del tesoro en el anverso, al igual que los billetes de EE. UU. presentan un sello rojo, los certificados de plata (excepto los billetes de Hawái y África del Norte de la Segunda Guerra Mundial) un sello azul, y los billetes de la Reserva Federal un sello verde.
