Este listado es para el billete de la Reserva Federal de 5 dólares tipo numeral de 1928 de Chicago, fotografiado. Este billete fue emitido en el Banco de la Reserva Federal de Chicago, como lo identifica el "7" dentro del sello en el centro izquierdo del anverso. El billete es de tipo numeral, ya que la emisión del banco federal se representa en números en lugar de letras, como se ve en emisiones posteriores. El billete está en condición Muy Fina (VF), con pliegues visibles y signos de desgaste. ¡Un tipo interesante y en excelente estado! ¡Imprescindible para cualquier colección! Bajo la Serie de 1928, todos los billetes de tamaño pequeño tenían un diseño estandarizado. Todos los billetes de $5 llevarían un retrato de Lincoln, el mismo diseño de borde en el anverso y el Monumento a Lincoln en el reverso. El billete de $5 se emitió como un billete de los Estados Unidos con un sello y números de serie rojos, y como un billete de la Reserva Federal con un sello y números de serie verdes.
La Serie de 1928 fue la primera serie de billetes modernos de tamaño pequeño emitidos. Desde entonces, el año de la serie se ha cambiado cuando hay un cambio importante en el diseño de un billete; un cambio menor en el diseño se indica agregando un sufijo de letra al año de la serie.
