Este anuncio es para una moneda de un centavo de trigo de 1950 S, como se muestra en la imagen. Grado/condición VF-AU (Muy fina a Casi sin circular).
El centavo de Lincoln ha sido acuñado por la Casa de la Moneda de los Estados Unidos desde 1909. El anverso o lado de la cara fue diseñado por Victor David Brenner, al igual que el reverso original, que representaba dos espigas de trigo (de ahí "centavos de trigo", acuñados entre 1909 y 1958).
Este centavo de trigo cumple 71 años este año (2021). Podría ser un regalo genial para el cumpleaños número 71 de alguien.
Esta moneda es una excelente adición a cualquier colección; una pieza de historia. Como se puede ver en las fotos, la moneda está en excelente estado. Grado XF.
¿Qué pasó en 1950?
- La Guerra de Corea comienza cuando Corea del Norte invade Corea del Sur en junio.
- La primera tira cómica de Peanuts se publicó el 2 de octubre y se mostró inicialmente en siete periódicos diferentes.
- La Ley Orgánica de Guam es promulgada por el presidente de los Estados Unidos Harry S. Truman durante agosto. La ley convirtió a la isla en un territorio no incorporado de los Estados Unidos y otorgó la ciudadanía estadounidense a todos los residentes de Guam.
- Diner's Club emite las primeras tarjetas de crédito.
- Dinamarca - Se encuentra el Hombre de Tollund, un cuerpo momificado del siglo IV.
